On Friday and Saturday

Okay, here goes. I finally have a bit of time to blog. But i'll try to keep it to 10 minutes. Still got work to do!! =(

Friday (8th Sept)

For once I felt awake, thanks to an early night and a thourough face wash in the morning. It was 7am in the morning, and I had to rush off to school for cca prac. So yeah, our section had 1 hour less of practice than all the other sections, but that does not mean we are more slack! Because I don't think anyone can concentrate well for 3 straight hours, and because we did have a productive session. There was a significant improvement after prac and I hope that this standard would not fall (=

Prac finished at 10am, and I took my time to get to Potong Pasir MRT (dunno what I was doing). Amazingly, I spent two hours getting from Bishan MRT to Potong Pasir MRT. The wonders of time-wasting...

Met the rest of the song writing comp ppl outside the MRT and waited for everyone to arrive. Haha, Quan Wei agreed that he was now a public nuisance :P Because I stuffed my drink into his back, then he threw the drink back at me, expecting me to catch it. But I didn't! I jumped away and the whole cup smashed onto the floor with a resounding crackle of ice spilling all over the floor. The MRT staff made him clean up every drop of water after that. Haiz, so suay...so I helped him out la! yay

Strolled all the way to SAJC to collect the prize money after that. Being blur as usual, Jorel and I didn't realise that J. Lim had already collected the money (the rest couldn't make it). So we stoned around the general office while everyone else collected their prizes. So silly... We didn't even realise that we didn't have the letter that was needed to collect the prizes lol. So anyway, being undecided as usual, everyone just stood outside the general office, no idea on what we should do next.

So finally, someone decided to say Lunch at Plaza Sing, and everyone, having no opinion whatsoever, just followed each other aimlessly all the way to ps. It was rather amusing to see everyone clueless. At ps, Steff suggested Swenson's, so again everyone moved to Swenson's, and stoned outside, because we did not know whether to eat at Thai Express or at Swenson's. Finally, taking the lead, Steff walked into Swenson's and so did everyone else (she wanted to eat this. And she claims to be daring enough to dance in public).

So yeah, ordered our food and interacted with each other, and we all finally decided to break the "inter-sch barrier" by talking to everyone else (and playing too). Had many fun and retarded games and conversations. And by the way, Jorel was being bullied by Chloe, which was super funny! Oh yes, to everyone (esp QW and Chloe), we must get together to play soccer the next time! Yepp, don't want to elaborate much on how stupid we all were at Swenson's. But thanks to everyone for coming, we did have a great time together.

Went home, and went out again later that night (Spent a lot on public transport today). Had dinner with my family @ Big "O". Although the food wasn't exeptional, the deserts were! Mudpies!!! Choc + more choc + more choc. It was very very yummy. And after that, we went to watch Monster House together. haha (= Rather interesting and amusing, and my dad wasn't that bored after all (I was laughing like mad at the beginning where they showed this cute little girl riding a bicycle. Couldn't believe my dad watched this kinda of stuff but he had no choice because we all wanted to watch! xD)

Saturday (9th Sept)

Once again, woke up rather early to have breakfast with family before picking up my friends at yio chu kang for physics PT. We are more or less done with it (just a bit more), and Im happy that we've accomplished another piece of work. (= haha. So well, Choon went off first. Ajay and Ed stayed back to play xbox, and it was fun and funny. We just played football ( on xbox la) throughout the whole day (oh yes and watched batman LOL).

Ed went off b4 dinner, and Ajay stayed back to watch the Liv - Eve match which sadly was lost by Liv who had so many chances, but was rather crappy and slack (Benitez why did you play an injured Carragher!). Yes, we tried some cool stuff in the game and messed around yeah. It was enjoyable (=. Ajay's dad came at around 10pm+ to pick him up. And yes Ajay, if we train more we will become super pro whee.

He was really tired, to the extent that his will could not even overcome this feeling even though he was mentally trained and physically strong. Those sagging eyebags, from the lack of sleep, made him look like a zombie, accompanied by the lethargic pose, ultimately made him lifeless. Totally.

He stood there, leaning heavily against the wall, head down, visibly crest-fallen. His arms were folded, exposing those bulging muscles that protruded from his arms. Yet, he still tried to stay awake. No, not tried to, he needed to. Wait, more likely, must do so. The consequences were dire if he succumbed to the charm of the sleepy atmosphere at night. It always beckoned him, pestered him to have his beauty sleep. Yet, though it seemed subtle and superficial at first, the charm was now growing stronger, while he was growing weaker.

He looked terrible, absolutely miserable, and he was afraid. Not so much of what he would face if he failed this mission, but rather, terrified by the unknown. He did not know much, all he knew was that he had to stay there, awake. It was a wonder, that such a colossal muscle-man like him did not know anything about what he was doing. Why? His actions were to satisfy someone else's purpose, and that someone did not want to let him know so soon.

Suddenly, there was a tap on the wall. Soft, yet startling at such a time, where everything should have been absolutely silent, as the past days and months were. He lowered his hand to the gun hidden in his black leather jacket, which had gathered much dust over the months and its days were well over. Again, that tapping sound. It was from somewhere above, and its identity was still unknown to him. Freaky, sure.

Suddenly, the man dropped down like a sack onto the floor. Nothing had come into contact with him. He just lay there, motionless, never to twitch another muscle again. The tapping stopped too. What a painful death. But nontheless, he still failed.

He is real, as we claim. Yet irrational to all of us.
